I am committed to high-quality research-informed and research-led learning and teaching practice and in November 2017, I was delighted to achieve Associate Fellow status with the UK Higher Education Academy. I firmly believe that in Higher Education, it is not practical, possible or feasible to have just a single teaching style as style requirements depend strongly on purpose, site and setting. Recognising this, I describe my teaching style and practice as fluid, creative, proactive and reflective.

I have a great breadth and depth of geographical subject knowledge, evidenced by my adaptable and versatile nature that has enabled me to successfully deliver a wide range of lectures, seminars, tutorials and local and international fieldwork across HE degree programmes and staff expertise.
